Galapagos San Cristóbal

Origin / crop
About 1000 km west of Ecuador lies the Galapagos archipelago with its 13 islands, famed for their unique flora and fauna. The islands are part of the territory of Ecuador. The island of San Cristóbal, covering 558 km², consists of a long-extinct, much eroded volcano that soars to a height of 730 m in the south-west. The humid highlands are home to the crater lake of El Junco, measuring 270 m across, which provides the water needed to irrigate the volcanic slopes.

About this coffee
This 100% Arabica coffee is comparable with the most expensive coffees from the Caribbean plantations.

Flavour
The coffee from San Cristóbal has an intensive, full and spicy flavour. A slight acidity gives it its velvety, refined aroma. A sensational coffee.

Recommendation
For a full-bodied, exclusive-tasting espresso.
