The island of Jamaica is spanned by a majestic mountain range that soars to a maximum height of 2300 metres in the Blue Mountains in the east. The combination of an ideal climate and careful, expert processing make Jamaica Blue Mountain beans an unrivalled coffee speciality.

About this coffee
According to historical records, coffee was first cultivated in the remote mountains of the Caribbean islands in 1725. Only about 800 sacks can be harvested per year. The rare raw coffee is then shipped to the rest of the world in 35 kg or 60 kg barrels.

Flavour
Delicate, mild aromas blend with a unique sweetness and fine acidity to create a perfect bouquet with subtle chocolate notes. Jamaica Blue Mountain is rightly regarded by many gourmets as the pinnacle of coffee perfection.

Recommendation
This single-origin speciality is best enjoyed as a long espresso or coffee.
