Fourth RAID Prologue JURA – Italianità on four wheelsRAID
is one of the most popular vintage car rallies, providing a spectacle on the roads of Switzerland year
after year. On the premises of JURA Elektroapparate AG in Niederbuchsiten,
at the heart of the catchment area of Aarau, Lucerne, Solothurn and Berne, against an spectacular architectural
backdrop, the most beautiful and interesting vintage cars will gather on 25 August 2010
for the summer
Concours d’Elégance and the subsequent prologue to Basle. The jury is made
up of accredited experts in historical cars. The Concours is open to all makes and models built before
and in 1975. Spectacular sports cars, historical luxury cars, rare exotic cars and the day-to-day vehicles
of each era will all be on show. This year, the participation cars will be
particularly interesting for drivers of Alfa-Romeos. To mark the 100th anniversary of the legendary
Italian marque, there is a special category for all models built before and in 1960. The
special "JURA Bella Italia" prize will on this occasion be awarded to Italian cars and special
car bodies built between 1925 and 1960. After all, Italy is synonymous with beautiful cars and exquisite
coffee – just like the RAID Prologue JURA itself. »
